Alpacas - George & Henry
Granary Farm Cottages have some new additions to their family in the shape of George and Henry, the Alpacas.
Originating from Peru, Alpacas are hardy intelligent animals whose wool is famous for being used in the making of soft clothing. In peru they withstand temparatures from -20 to +40 degrees.
Like small Camels, they make unusual pets, they have exotic, charming and beautiful faces, and people find them lovely to look at. They make the most lovely humming noise and graze all day.
Visitors will eventually be able to stroke them and talk to them. Ask Piedi and Simon to help you feed the Alpacas. you will find them in the field where they may join you for badminton or croquet
